This is another variation of the same phishing attack. This time it takes you to jtwitterl.com/r2/

Apparently there were more steps. If you had not changed your password then a few hours later something else happened and a this time it was a bit nastier. The Twitter queen knows more.

Answer to 1. Don’t use the out of the box links functionality. Create a custom post type. And then write some code to perform display the link or list of links as you wish.

I’ve just joined my own website since I need to see how it works from a Registered user’s point of view. And to make sure it does what it’s supposed to do…. whatever that it. Hopefully someone at a WordUp Pompey will tell me all about it.
